Good tour, minor wait

We did the Mountaintop Tour and had a good time overall. The views were impressive and the guides were knowledgeable and kept things moving safely. The only small issue was that we waited about 15 minutes past our scheduled start time, which was a bit annoying, but once we got going, it was fine. The equipment felt secure and the whole experience was worth the cost.

Detailed review of Night Flight

We decided to try the Night Flight Ziplining, which was quite a unique experience. I booked it on their website about a month in advance. The site was easy to navigate and showed all the available times clearly. When we arrived, the staff at the counter were efficient, getting us checked in quickly. Our guides were excellent; they were very thorough with safety instructions and also made sure everyone felt comfortable, especially since ziplining in the dark can be a bit different. The gear was all in great condition. The tour itself was exhilarating, seeing the forest illuminated by headlamps was really cool. It lasted just about as long as they said it would, and we got some nice souvenir photos at the end. No complaints about the quality of the activity or the service.

Consistently great experience

This was my third time visiting Navitat, and once again, they delivered. I've done the Zipline Canopy Tour before and this time tried the Sunset Zipline Tour. Each visit has been well-organized from checking in to the actual tour. The guides are always friendly and professional. It's why I keep coming back and recommending them to anyone visiting Asheville. The booking process was just as smooth as the previous times, no surprises.

Value for the Treetop Tour

I was looking for a fun activity that wouldn't totally break the bank, so I checked out Navitat. I found a weekday discount for the Treetop Tour which helped a lot. Booking online was easy and clear about the final price. For the amount of time we spent ziplining and the experience, it felt like a really good deal. I left feeling like I got my money's worth and had a great time.

Fun day out, super easy

I booked the Treetop Tour for me and my friends a few weeks ago. It was such a blast! The booking online was really straightforward, just picked a date and time. Everything went smoothly when we got there too. The guides were really cool and made it a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to do.

I'm a local in Asheville, are there any discounts for residents? Like for a family package or something?

B Brett F. 2 months ago
Yep, they definitely have a local resident discount. I used it last year for my family. You just have to show proof of address when you check in.

They usually do, like 10-15% off I think. Just ask them when you book or check their site, sometimes it's for specific tours or times but generally available for locals.

hey, trying to decide between Navitat and French Broad Adventures. Anyone have experience with both? What's the main difference?

K Kevin 1 month ago
I've done both! Navitat feels a bit more polished and like a 'canopy tour' experience, with the tree platforms and guided feel. French Broad is cool too, but felt a little more rustic to me. Both are good though, depends what you're after.

Yeah, I think Navitat focuses more on the 'canopy' aspect and longer ziplines. French Broad has other river stuff too, if you're into a combo package. For just ziplining, Navitat is solid.

Thinking of booking the Mountaintop Tour for next month. Does anyone know how long it actually takes? Want to make sure we plan our day right.

R Renee 2 months ago
Yeah, I did that one last spring. With all the zipping and walking between platforms, it was about 3 hours for our group. They tell you the duration when you book, too.

Mine felt a little longer, maybe closer to 3.5 hours? Depends on the group size and how fast everyone moves through it, I think. Give yourself plenty of buffer time.

What's the deal with taking GoPros or phones on the zipline? Can I bring my own?

C Carly Reyes 2 months ago
You can bring a GoPro, but it has to be securely mounted to you. Like, a chest harness or helmet mount. They're pretty strict about not dropping anything for safety.

S Sam 2 months ago
Yeah, I saw people with GoPros. Phones are a no-go usually unless it's tucked away safely, like in a zippered pocket. They don't want loose items flying off.
